Advani joins Regional Council, Advisory Board

Tushar AdvaniTushar Advani ’93 was recently named to Syracuse University’s School of Architecture Advisory Board and to the San Francisco Regional Council.

Advani leads the Station Design Group, a specialized group of planners, architects, and engineers who plan urban areas and districts that feed and are fed by transportation infrastructure and design passenger transportation facilities to serve these areas. His group is a branch of Rail and Transit (RNT), a division of WSP, a leading engineering and professional services firm.

With the greater resources of WSP USA, Advani offers his clients a complete range of analytical and design services for strategic development of urban environments catalyzed by transportation systems. Advani has worked on transportation projects for over 25 years and has completed projects such as feasibility studies, new transit corridors and extensions of existing ones, urban district developments, transit oriented development and urban design master plans, station area plans, and complete transit facilities for every mode of transportation.

Advani is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED Accredited Professional, and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has taught design studios at Boston Architectural College.
